to those of you that have played X hero seige.

in the game there is a segment in which you can fight a "hero image" of your hero.
i am wondering how i can reproduce this in the world editor. :confused:

Use triggers to create 1 unit-type of the hero you want copied, then set its level to whatever you want, and you can modify its hero attributes to whatever you want as well.

This is sort of what i am looking for. However i would like to be able to send the player through multiple times, and not have to make multiple heroes for each level or attribute.

I don't understand what you mean, because the way this would work, why not? It's no trouble.

For an X Hero Siege-like image fight, the triggers would be like (freehand):
Trigger:
  • Image Fight
    • Events
      • Unit enters Hero Image Arena <gen>
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Create 1 (Unit-type of (Triggering Unit)) for Neutral Hostile at ArenaPoint facing 90 degrees
      • Set level of (Last created unit) to (Level of (Triggering Unit))
      • Set Strength of (Last created unit) to (4 x (Strength of (Triggering Unit) excluding bonuses))
      • Set Agility of (Last created unit) to (4 x (Agility of (Triggering Unit) excluding bonuses))
      • Set Intelligence of (Last created unit) to (4 x (Intelligence of (Triggering Unit) excluding bonuses))

I guess i didn't understand parts of what you were saying. I have just started working with the world editor and have fiddled around with it somewhat. Where did you find the set level, agility strength ect. it would help a lot for me to know

Btw, make a trigger to let the hero out ofc.
Trigger:
  • Events
    • A unit dies
    • Conditions
    • Unit equal unit-type of Image
    • Unit is in Region ImageFight equal to true
    • Actions
    • Unit - Instantly Move to Center of Region Start <gen>

[Something like that]

yeah. my goal isn't to make an exact copy of the hero image, but something similar. btw how can i control the cool down of a tome that you can buy in a shop.

You mean having the item be unavailable in the shop for a period of time after it's purchased? Set the Stats - Stock Replenish Interval to the number of seconds you want between purchases.

actually after looking through my triggers, i noticed that i dont have the "set strength/other attributes" do you have any idea about where this is? is it in the same section as set level?

Set the Hero to the Hero and the Attribute to STR and Number or AGI and Number or INT and Number

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
