ive got a variable
'Hero_Level'

is there anyway that i can set it to be equal to the level of the triggering hero?

any help would be great

If you really can't set it to "level of the triggering hero" I'm guessing that your variable is of Real type and not Integer.
If you for some other reason want it to remain as a real-variable you can use the (convert to Integer) function. It's under functions if you edit the Real-value.

Set Hero_Level = (Real((Level of (Triggering unit))))

And that's what it looks like.

If your variable is in fact Integer, then you just have to search the list a little more. It's under functions, called "Unit - Level of Unit.

does that mean i have to rename my hero?
or do i just replace 'hero' with the heroes name?

Hero is a Variable. It is used to Assign to a Hero you want to Revive.

are you sure level of unit is the same as hero level?

level of unit could be like lvl 5 creeps lvl 2 creeps 0.0
for example: creeps above level 5 cannot be charmed.
