How can I make wc3 work on my flash drive?

Warcraft not working on flashdrive

I put wc3 on a flashdrive but it doesnt always work. It works on some computers, but on most- i get a message taht says "warcraft 3 wasant intalled properly and you need a cd" (this is a paraphrase) but it works on other comps. How can I make it so it works on all?

With the new update, it only works on a few computers. How can I make it work on all computers?

A flashdrive doesn't have a Registry, WC3 probably needs it. Though it has worked for me when I installed it on an iPod. Try just Dragging and Dropping the whole program from a computer which has it installed.

You mean like a USb flash drive? Mine works perfectly, bit slow (Cos i bought a cheap one). Mine works on all computers that i've tried... I could even host on one (not very well lol). Is it like an error that comes up when you insert it into another computer?

I have a 4g flashdrive. I installed the warcraft directly to the flash drive this time (before I copied and pasted) and did all the updates on it while still connected to the computer. It now works.

About the error, it used to say my warcraft wasnt properly installed.

This is intersting.

I Think the resterity is on the hard drive, but thats cool that you can install it to a flash drive like that.

Its almost like i could install it at the libary, and if they didnt wipe everything changed, i could come back and play some warcraft
