how do i force my dummy to use an ability

well the title says it all..any help would be appreciated or any guides

oh and here is my trigger so far

That's after you create the dummy. You can change the bold part.

yes but there is 2 things 1 is that it is asking to pick a preset spell(mine is a custom one called multishot)

2 its asking to pick a target

my spell i want my dummy to use is multishot. basically the spell is barrage(attack multiple units)

but barrage auto targets closest units. and thats what my spell is based off of. attacks all units around me

Hmm, myb add the spell to the dummy, pick every unit around the dummy and then order the dummy to attack picked unit? Is that what u want?

no i just want it to use the custom spell i made called multishot thats all.

how do i make my dummy use an ability i made based off of baragge(auto targets and attacks all units in range)

Look now, make a dummy in your object editor. Is your ability passive or active, gimme some info here i don't understand?

i understand what ur saying

u want ur dummy to cast a custom ability but u can't find what action to use

this is what someone else taught me

Look at ur Multishot skill u created.. then look at the spell ID of it Thats the key

change it to EntanglingRoots <--- it wont change the skill

Then order ur dummy to Night elf - Keep of the grove - Entagling roots

It willl work i guarantee it

find out which spell your spell is based on and then order it to cast the base spell.

Why not just add your custom ability to the dummy in the Object Editor?
