That's would be impossible as Timer itself is variable. And also, when you use timer, it will come along with tons of variables to use across the trigger.

If you don't know anything about variables at all, don't use it.

There are some awesome tutorials about that on this forum, try to find them for variables are needed in nearly every trigger you're going to make, as well as this one. If you'd take a look at the triggers I've posted below you'll notice that the timer itself is actualy a variable as well.

You'll need a timer variable first, no way to do this without. It'll look a little bit like: (hand typed, and please ignore the Event/Condition part... you'll have to fill those in yourself since I have no clue when your event is supposed to trigger!)
Trigger:
  • Events
    • Unit - A unit Starts doing something
    • Conditions
      • (Random action) Equal to Amglol
    • Actions
      • Countdown Timer - Start Timer as a One-shot timer that will expire in 30.00 seconds

Timer is a timer variable.
You could also add something like:
Trigger:
  • Actions
    • Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for Countdown with title Alliance Victory
    • Countdown Timer - Show Timer to (All players)

For a nice window in the corner of your screen.

Now to cause the timer to trigger something you can simply use the timer event:
Trigger:
  • Events
    • Time - Timer expires

Hope this was helpfull, and now go and read every variable tutorail on the forums!!! Woo!

Variables is not a difficult concept to learn. When you do, your Map making experience will get 100x better.

A variable is a representation of something. X = 10. X is the variable. It represents 10. Is that hard to learn? It's the same in the trigger editor. You set a variable to represent something. In this case, you use one to represent a Timer.

Exactly. You can set a variable to almost anything in the game. Examples:

Trigger:
  • Set Alex = (Triggering unit)

^ variable that represents a unit, we call the variable Alex

Trigger:
  • Set Alex_Life = (Life of (Alex))

^ Integer variable that represents the current hit points of the unit "alex".

So now you have 2 variables: Alex, which represents a unit, and Alex_Life, which represents that unit's current hit points.

Now just use a "Timer" variable for your Timer.

Either you're a teacher or you should become one, that was pretty nice. Even I would understand that if I were just starting using variables :p

I personally like to think about variables more like small pieces of the memory with a name in which you'd save data (units, points, life, numbers) for later use, but I guess your post would make a lot more sence than my usualy 5 page story. :p
Ow well, my informatics teachers stories are about as understandable as my random hero trigger.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
