How do we modify existing models...(Detailed First Post)

I looked in the tutorials and didn't find anything on how to Modify already existing models. Here are some stuff to help on what answering:

Facts
- I do not have 3Ds Max.
- I do have a powerful 3D modeler(Blender)
- I do not want to make models.
- I do have medium knowledge of 3D, World editor and Texture manipulating.
- I do not want any ''simple'' answer please

Please answer with a detailed answer containing the programs needed, how to extract the models and how to put them back in. The real problem for me is actually extracting them from Warcraft III.

Warcraft 3 Viewer is all that is needed to extract them. Other than that, I don't really know.

Use wc3 viewer to extract the models.

Get War3Model Editor, open the MPQ Browser, and pick your file.

By the way, try actually reading some tutorials; there are plenty out there that tell you how to get your models from the MPQ.
