How to put on a skin ?

How can i put on a Skin on a unit ?

Um it's very hard and takes a while to master that, but i know how to IMPORT skins and models lol

I think it's the same way you do it on models. If it has a mdx then I know 100%.
I never actually used skins though.

Import the skin
Give it the right paths.
Go to model in any unit.
Go to where it says custom.
Select the mdx.

i think that should be it.

i think this is not what he asked for...

if you simply want to apply one of the skins on wc3sear.ch for example, all you need to do is import it with the right path. if you need more help on this, post the skin you would like to have.

I'm using this thread brcause it seems to be more attractive as the one I posted, sorry :S

I can't make this model of track to work, surely because a problem of path, but I tried everything I won't get it : /

i was wondering about skins too (never used em before) um Sfilip when you say just import it and put it on the unit where do you put it on the unit? it would get messed up in model file wouldnt it? idk... i dled 1 from wc3sear.ch but i dont know how to put it on

I think skins work the same way as models do I said it earlier
Go to model and pick the skin file.

(sry for double post)

i dled the skin and imported it but it wont let me use it at "Art- Model File" it says there are no imported files for it (the skin is .blp not .mdx)
...so how do i put the skin on?

when i import the skins (.blp files) then i can only put them as icons, and it doesn't works when i want it to set art - model file. where should i set it when it is already imported?
