How to replace skills

i want a switching skill thet changes accordint to the time of day...
i can replace the ability but the problem is in the research tab...
i cant remove the ability... and replace it with the other 1...

ive put this as my trigger but the problem is that the respective skill which are suppose to level up for the unit that replaces are not being leveld up!

    Actions
        Set blank = (Level of black strike  for dave)
        Set dnh = (Level of Night Hunter  for dave)
        Set dexp = (Hero experience of dave)
        Set dlvl = (Level of dave)
        Unit - Replace dave with a n.DAVE using The old unit's relative life and mana
        Set dave = (Last created unit)
        Hero - Set dave Hero-level to dlvl, Hide level-up graphics
        Hero - Set dave experience to dexp, Hide level-up graphics
        Unit - Set level of night strike  for dave to blank
        Unit - Set level of n.Night Hunter  for dave to dnh

ive done that....
the ability thats suppose to b removed is not completely removed but is still present in the research tab....

i think he means remove the entire hero ability?

not a unit ability. im not sure if this is possible

even if it was how would you make it so that you cannot upgrade into the removed ability?

they found a way to do this kindof thing in dota for doom's devour, you are unable to upgrade/level up the ability until it has finished consuming

try use the Engineer Upgrade ability and find a way to hide the icon, or something like that maybe?

the ability added via trigger is temporary, while the ability in research lab is permanent(because you add it via object editor)

so simple add the ability to research lab via trigger(as temporary), so you can remove it via trigger too.
