I can't see gate's health?

When I target a gate ingame, I can't see it's health.

The gate is targeted as Debris.

The selection scale is 512.

Make it a normal building like farm or something and change the modle

Follow sharkbait's idea, and remember to change the selection scale and scaling size of the unit, so it blocks the path that you want, because the model might be big, but the collision size might not be there, and the gate/farm might not be big enough to fit the gap.

I'd say give up on the idea and be happy without health being displayed.

If you insist, however, then create another unit with no pathing (use the pathing map for a shrub or something else walkable) and the model of an opened gate. When the unit with the key approaches, remove the gate and replace it with the opened one.

You could probably display the health of the gate using floating text without much difficulty, if you wanted to leave it as a destructible.

I wonder why they made it so hard to see the health.

I'm making a gate that can be opened and destroyed. It will also respawn after 30s.

Lol no worries.


If you go with a building like blocker, when you want to open it, just turn of collision and play the animation.
