I need help with my avatar.

After playing aroudn with my picture for 30 mins getting it to fit in the requirment pixels it says this: the uploaded file is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG file. please ensure that it is and try agin what does that mean?

What file type is it? Because apparently you're trying to save one that isn't accepted.

1st: Wrong section, Moved.

2nd: What this means is that you saved the image as the wrong format. You can only save it as either "GIF, JPG, or PNG". If you are using Photoshop, it saves as a .PSD
If you are using paint, the default save type is a 24bit bitmap. Click the button under where you name your file, and chose either GIF, JPG(JPEG), or PNG.
