Is Incinerate some evil spell?

I am making an ability like Fury Swipes from Dota, its an Incinerate for a melee hero.

I changed the data of the original ability and all that and gave it to my hero and it worked. I then copied the spell and gave it to him, and it didn't work. Exact copy, did not work.

I then gave it to another hero just to make sure, and it still didn't work. I then "Make New Custom Ability" based on Incinerate. That didn't work either.

Is there something wrong with my WE?

It only works on ranged heros. If you look closer, the dota hero is actually ranged aswell to make incinerate work.

Maybe take a screenshot of the Object Editor to see what we can do.

Otherwise, its probably just a simple bug.

Incinerate is pretty easy to simulate with triggers. When you attack a unit, make a dummy caster put a buff on it. Then set its custom value up by X each time. When the buff falls off, set the value to zero.
