Is this normal?

I think there has to be well over 1000 triggers of similar nature to make my map work properly. I'm thinking of ways to cut it down but was just wondering if triggers take up much space in a map?

1000 triggers? What map are you making....1000 triggers is insane. Theres probaly a MUCH more efficient way to do what your thinking of.

It depends on what kind of trigger you have.

It won't start lagging or anything just because you have a lot of them. It's just more efficient with less triggers.

Would it be possible to combine your triggers (I'm sure there has to be some that do basically the same thing, unless you are making a huge RPG or something). Also, have you thought about JASS?

It's like this... There's 100 regions in the map where you can find certain units. There has to be a trigger for each player to take them to a different place. There' 6 players max in the map so 6x 100 = 600 triggers. What's more some more triggers have to be made because of the type of unit summoned in the region. Which would mean 600x 6 because there's 6 kinds of units that can be summoned... This is insane, I can't do it like this.

Wrong, that would be 100 triggers. Or maybe not even 100, maybe 1. Remember you can have more than one event in a trigger. Use "triggering unit" (or Owner of Triggering Unit) instead of "player 1" "player 2"....

What? Well, NO! There might be...well , no...Dont understand what you are saying , but you can have more than one condition and one event, and refer to the owner/player that starts the trigger....Show us 1 triger of yours
and i can fix it (most likely) for all players, 1-6.
Edit, I dont get this forum, how did I get the blue "smileyface" with a question mark inside? Only 1150 posts, still a retard when it comes to the forum, fucking...great! :D Lol...Not that I care, Ill just accept it :)

You must've clicked one of the "post icons" at the bottom of the "post reply" screen.
"No Icon" is preselected, but you can choose any of 'em.
It's where you may select an icon to show beside the thread name in the list if you're the thread starter ;)

gj mate :D

Thanks for your help but I think I can do it with If/Then/Else actions. That should bring the triggers down a lot.
