Issue for a long time with Map editor

Hi guys, I've been map editing since way back when warcraft 3 first came out, and usually I can just browse forums for help on what issues I come across but this is one that has been hampering me for ages and I'm really not sure what it is or how to fix it or anything, esentially say I want to make a spell that does loads of functions but with a small gap inbetween so it's not instant and you can see it happen but really quickly, like several abilities in dota I.E barathums knock back ability that looks really smooth or pudge's/clockwerk's hook. Well basically whenever I do any spell like that, if I do a wait function any lower than 0.5 (I think it's around 0.5) it doesn't seem any faster than it would at waiting 0.5 seconds, for example I have been creating a black hole esque spell that draws units in an area inwards, I tried drawing them in once every 0.1 seconds drawing them in 20 units but it drew them in just as frequently as at 0.5 meaning it looks really un smoothe and chunky. Any help anyone? Thanks in advance.

In the main trigger, don't use waits. What you shuold do is Turn On some other Trigger that would have a periodic event.

Example of the periodic trigger would be:

E:
Every 0.03 seconds of game time

A:
Do some thingies.

What he said. Besides, war3 doesn't like wait commands :(

1 wait command is ok.
Or if you want you can make a timer for it.
Or you can create a dummy with timed life and when it dies, the spell stops.

whichever works for u.
