I think you need to set a lifespan... eg:

call SetTextTagLifespan(t,2.00)

The native function in jc is:

native SetTextTagLifespan           takes texttag t, real lifespan returns nothing

Hehehe, sorry purge, but vulcan asked the same question and I watched his thread.
I thought I had a lifespan, but I had not! Anyhow, fixed that, and posted my spell (first spell posted by me, called Multi-Slash)
