make item give targets allowed "tree"

is it possible to make a permanent item give a unit the ability to attack trees normally?

Go to your unit and create two attacks. One that can target what you want without destructibles(trees) and one with everything you want. Your units default attack should be the one with out trees.

Then create a custom ability based on Orb of Lightning/Orb of Slow. Set the data field Attack Enabled to the number of the attack you've just set to include trees.

Add your custom ability to the item and your done.

o yea, it makes sense. i just haven't learned what all the default abililties and such do yet. i only play custom maps.
