Make Upgrade Unavailable for Research

Would I be right in assuming that in order to make an upgrade unavailable until later, I would set its max research level to 0, then set it to 1 later?

Also, is there a way to do this for abilities? Like, give a unit 3 differant abilities, but make them all unavailable until the player chooses one, therefore making it available to the unit, without showing the other two as grayed out?

1. Upgrades cannot be undone once researched. Period.

2. There is an action to enable/disable an ability under the Player actions.

1. I don't need to undo them, just remove them from the techtree temporarily.

Undo would mean "remove". You can't do it. Once researched, an upgrade is there permanently.
You could create another upgrade that has an opposite effect, cancelling out the other upgrade, but it cannot be undone, either.

It's not a problem anymore, I figured it out, but what I meant was remove the ability to research it in the first place, not undo the research itself once completed.

I would also like to know how to remove research abilities. Like if you choose one, the others become unavailable.

It would help if you explain how you did it.

Create a thread about your own problem. This thread is old and hijacking threads is not permitted
