I disagree, money does not equal power. Look at Bill Gates, he's around the third richest man in the world, he is not a leader like the President or a Dictator and no one has to follow his orders.

Hmm... I think you need to go back and find out what IMO actually means.

I'd say no, without even thinking.

It was recently proven that people with jobs such as accounting and banking (obviously jobs which get you alot of money) are more depressed than people with less expensive jobs.

I'd also have to say no, because, if I had enough money to buy everything I ever wanted, it'd all grow old and mean nothing to me .

their opinion about money and hapiness, i simply said me and a friend IRL had debate and i wanted to know more opinions then his

When you say money, i think a lot of it. Money = Happiness when you're in an apartment, or a modest house, making enough to buy clothes, food, educations, and some form of art and amusement. But when you're living in a mansion that guzzles enough energy to support a small country for a year, money is bad. You will waste it, want more, you can't be decent when living under circumstances that big. You'll get bugged by paparazzi and when you finally go broke, you can't live in anything smaller. In fact, when you go broke, because you were so greedy, you'll have nothing saved, and won't even get the chance to try lining normally before you go broke and wander around as a family of hobos. Money = Happiness under the right circumstances. So basically sometimes, and I now wish I could go back and change my poll answer to sometimes...

Not a fair question. Money can equal happiness, but so can anything else in life.

It's like saying.. Corn = Happiness. Sure, it can. But it doesn't always, and there will always be exceptions.

Some people will be happy because of money and others won't.

The only thing that is truly "equal" to happiness is happiness.

It depends on the person. What their definition of happyness is. If someone doesn't care about other people, and about personal gain, money would be the answer. but money is needed for happiness. Haven't you noticed people without money are usually sad, grumpy, depressed, etc.

Yet rich people also have problems. Just like everyone else does, with, or without money.

I could say that working as a plumber is equal to happiness because you get money for it and that money is for [insert what you have said].

Its way to streached. Sure, money can buy you food, but its the food that maeks you happy, not the money. Someone can give you food.

I checked my wallet today to see how much money I had to spend on hanging out and when I saw very little, I became very sad.

But when I have a lot, I'm happy.

However, money alone can't give you complete happiness, other things need to influence that as well.
