Kinda. Without money you would be living on the streets without food shelter or clothing.

Food and Shelter are 2 of the necessities of life.

It would still cost, seeds cost money. It would cost less, much less, though..



Its pretty much impossible to prove that money does not make people happy, But only to a certaint point. I live in a small old house, but I wouldnt be more happy with a larger, newer one. (Well... Besides being more bathrooms, we only have one and theres a big line lots of the time) Also, other things OTHER than money make you happy. So, money isnt needed to be happy, and DOESNT allways make you happy, but it can...

This is from personal expierences having rich parents. All the "perks" that come with it really aren't as great as people might make it seem. Get to ride around in a cool car and all but I think humans are greedy. So about after a few weeks I could care less.

But I'm a very sad person , depressed you might say. Suicide has come into thought before.



So I guess yes money sometimes , but for the most part no.

Money can bring you happiness but it doesn't buy you true friends/girlfriends that comes to you randomly when your rich

Its like irrating feel when people always ask you for money coz they know you got it... and you just dont know what to do O..o.
Money does bring happiness when you need it.. other then that a simple life is good enough for me

agree with hell knight. my parents earn ~250 000 dollars a year, and I'm not happy for that. Most of the times I'm pretty depressed. I have no mental illness or anything, so it must mean that money isn't happiness. of course, I don't get all that I want, but I get much more than many people I know who are happier than me

Yes and No.
If you have a lot of money, yes it is easier to be happy (you can buy stuff)
But, think of all the problems you get because of money.
Worrying about spending it, and about how much you get. People are also afraid of losing it. Thats sadness.

hm i like to have money but i never have anything so if my happiness was depending on my money i would be absolutely devastated ^^. but im not. im a happy kind of person. so i think no matter how much money i have, im happy (if its enough to buy alcoholics and cigarettes)

but

Money + something else == Happiness

where 'something else' may be family, friends, hobbies, your job, TH.net, WE, DotA, or anything.
Sure, money is not equal to happiness, but it helps to get 'something' that is equal to happiness.
