Need help with a New TD Idea

Yo guys i got a very cool idea....( i love it :) ) so think what u want )) hmmm i want to set a random level every level of the game lol....that s not saying much about my idea lol hmmm...i made all my 40 lvls.....like a classic TD....lvl 1 - Frog lvl 2 - murloc etc.....but i want to have like....3 level 1... like level 1 Frog Unarmored, level 1 ''alchimist'' medium armor and level 1 ''gorgon '' Fortified....i want it to be totally random....its a team td so everybody is fighting the same Wave of ennemies....how can i set 3 kind of unit for 1 level and how can i make it random ?

Oh right, you kinda have to use an array for the level...
You know to make the trigger "Create one unit of unit-type UnitSpawn[TDLevel]" right?
I skipped everything you said except the last sentence. I really don't know what you need, and I'm not going to read that big chunk without proper punctuation to seperate the thoughts. I'm already a naturally confused person.

Yea i got this trigger but only for my 40 waves....Idk how to make it random...do i need to make new variables ? a new variable for each new unit per level ? i will tell you my plan.... example : level 1 has 5 diferent units that can be THE level 1....Light armored unit , medium armored unit , heavy armored unit , fortified unit and unarmored unit....for now...My level 1 is only an Unarmored level....i want it to be random....sometimes...u can play my map and fight fortified lvl 1...or fight medium armored unit as the level 1....u probably already understood me from the 1st reply lol but now u know everything :) can u help me ?

Make your "wave" array filled like this:

1) Frog
2) Alchemist Frog
3) Gorgon
4)
5)
6)
7)
8)
9)
10)
11) Murlok
12) Crazy Murlok
13) Murlok Slave
...etc...

Then, to pick one of the random creeps for that round, use: (Current Level * 10) + (Random Integer between 1 and 3)

(the reason I put so many empty indices is so it's easy to, say, make four creeps per wave instead of three later on.)

Hmm shit where can i file my Wave like u just show me ? I understand more but not perfectly :| i found the random number between X and X. I already have my 2 variables called : RoundEnnemy ( used to give the UNIT as my lvl ) and RoundAmount...to know how many unit will spawn for this round....I will need to set like RoundEnnemy[1] = Random number between 1 and 3 ? if yes..can u explain a bit more ? ty

You will need to set the possible creeps to be spawned in an intialization trigger.
Then in the spawning trigger you'll set the array index of RoundEnnemy to the round + a random number.

kk and what will the trigger be ? like...

Event : map initialization....
( any conditions ???) :

Action :
Set RoundEnnemy[1] : Frog, Murloc, Gorgon ?



idk where to put the random thing....

Did you even read my post?

Make a trigger at map initialization, which does the following:

Code:
Set Wave_Unit_Types[1] = Frog
Set Wave_Unit_Types[2] = Alchemist
Set Wave_Unit_Types[3] = Gorgon
Set Wave_Unit_Types[11] = Murlok
Set Wave_Unit_Types[12] = Crazy Murlok
Set Wave_Unit_Types[13] = Murlok Slave
...etc...

Then, when the wave trigger goes, do:

Set Current_Wave_Type = Wave_Unit_Types[(((Current Wave) x 10) + (Random Integer between 1 and 3))]

You can then reference the current wave type in the variable Current_Wave_Type.

*10 is so you can have up to 10 options for randomization.

Since it picks from 3 random units, this gives 3 units to be randomed from. Round 0*10=0, +random 1, 2, or 3=1, 2, or 3 so you get a frog alchemist or gorgon.
Round 1*10=10, +random 1, 2, or 3=11, 12, or 13 so you get a murlok of some kind.
