I'm trying to set up a dummy caster for some trigger spells, however I'm encountering some issues:
I need to make the unit not visible under any circumstance. I can not set the model file to nothing as this will cause several ability graphics (stuff the unit will be casting) to not work properly or even appear. I also can not set the scale to 0.01 as that will affect the ability graphics.
My current idea is to set the unit to 100% transparency, which works up until the remove the unit. For this I use UnitApplyTimedLife(), however 'BFig' creates a small cloud when the unit is removed, and 'BTLF' causes the units dying animation to be played (which in most cases has a graphic/blood).
Does anyone know a good BuffID for UnitApplyTimedLife() that has absolutely no graphic when the unit is removed, or a better solution?
