Night Time isnt dark enough

Im making a new vampirism and I want it to be much darker than just 12:00 or whatever... the only thing i could figure what to do for that would be to put a black fade... thats transparent.... but you cant see your mouse once you click to build something.. is there a way i can make it super dark like that but still be able to see my mouse when i click to build?

You could use a fade filter when it becomes a certain time...
However, that makes it so that you cannot view the tooltips for abilities.
But, if you want it to be so dark you could do that... I mean tooltips aren't very important anyways...

Yes they are...say you learn a skill and have no idea what it does?

You can make a custom fade filter and alpha out that part ^_^

yes but he meant using a custom one which is not going black all over the screen if you don't know how look for tutorials about fade filters

but if i do a custom, like of a black screen, can you still build things while in that fade, during the whole game or not?

id go with like some fog effect, maybe editing the model on that demonic storm thing and making it be like black

If you want your map dark you'll love this

call SetDayNightModels("","")

But it makes the hole map dark so you will only see your units body and no lightning, to add some light make him hold like a torch and an attached effect

Iunno i cant EDIT my post i looked and looked i think i need to activate my E-mail i will soon just having problems and iunno why there are spaces


I fixed the spaces that should not of been there!:p
