will certainly

The people who are starting college this fall across
the nation were
born in 1987 . They are too young to remember the
space shuttle blowing
up.

Their lifetime has always included AIDS.

Bottle caps have always been screw off and plastic.

The CD was introduced the year they were born.

They have always had an answering machine

They have always had cable.

They cannot fathom not having a remote control.

Jay Leno has always been on the Tonight Show.

Popcorn has always been cooked in the microwave.

They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.

They can't imagine what hard contact lenses are.

They don't know who Mork was or where he was from.

They never heard: "Where's the Beef?", "I'd walk a
mile for a Camel", or
"de plane Boss, de plane".

They do not care who shot J. R. and have no idea who
J. R. ev! en is.

McDonald's never came in Styrofoam containers.

They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.

HEY, THAT AIN'T TRUE! -.- Before my mom worked from home, we didn't have an internet capable computer. We had a webtv, but it blew. So, I start typing with a typewriter...

(Took me a week to figure out how to get the damn paper in the thing, though...)

I am only eighteen, I am heading off to college, but I have heard all of those. My parents had hard contacts, we used to have a typewriter, I have heard the line who killed J.R...also heard it in a movie somewhere...I have cooked popcorn in numerous ways (microwave, popper, barbecue...) I know who Mork the Ork is... WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE HAVE NEVER TAKEN A SWIM AND NOT THOUGHT ABOUT JAWS? Sooner or later the movie will be seen... the remote is lost 99% of the time. Some of the others are true, though. I am not that culturally illiterate...

Thats funny, I think i might have one of those memories of styrofoam (mmm...styrofoam..hehehe). 18 and counting! But I have the heart of a young boy...in a jar on my desk.

You guys are from a younger generation but I met Blizzard in Diablo. This site was born from Blizzard's Diablo Technical Support.

I'm 29 and know about everything on that list. Only thing is the shuttle has blown up several times, so I can only guess as to which time this references (killed 7 people and halted space program for several years while they got their nerve back to send up more people). That's also about 2 years after I started working on computers programming in BASIC.
