I have a huge problem,
when I put water down its fine (deep/shallow), but when I try to get rid of the water using cliff or same level height, it doesn't go away. The water just stays there without a cliff, how do I fix and get rid of it?

On the terrain palette, use first normal (null) height to erase water, then add cliffs

Sorry, but I wasn't exact, the water when I place it it turns into squares, which doesn't look real. And another thing is that when I try to get rid of the 'Deep Water' it doesn't seem to go away. I've tried cliffing over, but nothing worked.

Well, you can smooth the area, or cover some rough edges with wonderful doodads ;)

Placing 2nd level cliffs on deep water should erase it. ;)

i solved this by raising the terrain so high it peeks out of the water and the ugly square water thingies are gone. if it's in the middle of the path try raising the land underneath it. if it's out of the way try covering it with doodads like Nika said.

PS: i have this same problem but with ramps. there're some ugly square thingies at the bottom side edges of it. how do you eliminate that without doodads?...

I have too many doodads which will lag, so I won't put anymore doodads down, but hey its the holidays so I'll probably finish it then. :D

Hey, I don't get what is Combat-Attack 1 - damage number of dice and Damage sides per die, means. Also the spill distance and radius.

"number of dice" and "number of sides per each die" is just the" probability of the damage. let's just say when each unit attacks, the computer rolls some dice and executes the damage equal to what comes up from the dice. so for example given that you have a base damage of 10 and you have 1 die (number of dice = 1) with only 2 sides (number of sides per die = 2) then the copmuter only has two choices on damage: 10 or 11, since 10 is our base damage. Note that the figure 11 is not accurate, it's just an example.

so it's like the higher you put on both fields, the greater the difference of the max damage and minimum damage a unit has (i.e. damage: 18-48) and lower gives lower difference (i.e. damage: 12-14)...

-EDIT-
OMG!!! i'm in a wrong account!!...

30 - 60 minutes should be the average attention span I think for a great game. Shorter than that and it'd be boring. It CAN be longer than that.. If the game really has that capabilities to attract players.. Anyway, the screenies look awesome.. Cant wait to test this out.. Will be like re-playing the scenarios. :)

Ok, to be honest this is too overwealming, but I will pause the making of this map and start on a new one that I think everyone will enjoy :D .

But when I'm done I'll continue on this map, but I would need help from other people, making a team because I only have an idea but not the experience to make this map. So if anyone wants to help make Nozdormu: Battle of Mount Hyjal than please post a reply And what you could help in the map. Thanks :D

Hey how do you make the camera to see what the triggering unit sees and how can you make a unit group?

I'm making a Cinematic and I want to destroy all the creautres in the area so they would stop making their noises, but I don't want to stop all sounds and music, how do i destroy all units in an area?
Also the sounds arent making a noise, I put Sounds - Play sounds and also Set 'Sound' Volume to 100.00%, why doesnt it work?

Hmm, how do I change my signature?
  • tom_mai78101 tom_mai78101:
Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though

Heard Houston got hit pretty bad by storms last night. Hope all is well with TH.
