ok i understand game cache but..

I just finished reading the game cache tut and its pretty much what i had. but since my hero is going to go from map 1 to map 2 and then back to map 1 i need to some how save the progress of map 1. i realy dont want my hero to have to do every thing over. how would i do this?

Well I haven't done this sort of thing myself, have you by any chance had a look at the Orc TFT campaign yet? You have to go back and forth between maps all the time with that campaign.
