Im making a Medeival-Builder style map, and there are buildable gates, but Im having a little bit of trouble getting them to open and close.
(First of all, I will remind eveyone that the gates are STRUCTURES, not destructables.)
Anyway, I made an ability called open, based off of crow form. It replaces the gate with another gate with no pathing map (so you can go through it.)
Anyway, I made a very simple trigger to try and trigger it to open:
Gates Open
Events
Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
Conditions
(Ability being cast) Equal to Open
Actions
Animation - Play (Casting unit)'s Death Alternate animation
But it just flashes the animation, then goes back to appearing closed. If I try and cast the spell again, the game crashes. I can't really understand what the problem is.
I also tried adjusting the actions so it is replaced with a new gate using the life of the old gate and playing the animation, but the same thing happens.
If you could clear this up and/or give me a better method of making it work, then +rep for you.
