I haven't seen any worgen in Warcraft, is it a wolf?

The dreadlord Mal'ganis may be from an evil knight of the arthus saga:
Sir Blamor de Ganis
The dreadlord Mephistro is obviusly from Mephisto, the devil/satan.
Balnazzar is propably tooken from one of the 3 kings that visited jesus after his birth: Balthasar
Archimonde is propably a set of 2 words: arch (greek for 'ruling' or 'leading') and for monde I dunno but it might be 'world' (from my french vocabular ). So --> ruler of the world.

I wouldn't put that much stock into the origin of warcraft names, seeing as Blizzard usually doesn't base much of its material off of other things. They're probably just made up names that the devs thought sounded cool.

Thats quite wrong as warcraft 1 was hevily based and even inteended in the first place to be a Warhammer game.

Just look at the burning legion its nearly an complete ripoff of The legions of Chaos where powerfull beigns end up as deamons etc etc...

Which would fit the fact that naga are based off things from india.
