Permanent Immolation

I have a problem with a move I made called Circle of Hell. What it does is it summons a circle of power that kills anything that runs over it because the circle has immolation with 99999 damage. The summoning of the circle is based off of the sentry ward ability. The problem is when the circle is summoned, the immolation doesn't kill anything. If I put the circle on the map from the unit Palette at the start as a unit, the immolation does work. How can I fix this?
 
I suppose that when you create the circle with the triggers, you select a player under whose control it will spawn. Make sure that this player is neutral hostile or something, or change the targets of the ability "Immolation."
 
I check and when it is summoned it does appear for the right player (the player that cast the ability). The move does not use any triggers, it is based off the sentry ward ability and is given permanent immolation in object editor.

Test your map having the control of the circle and look if the circle has the ability when it is summoned.

it could be other thing but you have to try that first if the ability is correctly given.

you may also have used immolation from demon hunter(activatable and deactivate) instead of permanment immolation from neutral hostile
 
Alright, I tested it and I did give it permanent immolation. I tried to activate it and it didn't work. When a unit uses the ability, he actually gets control of the circle of power, so the immolation does not hurt his units. The circle I placed on the map on the map for the tool palette and the circle I summoned with the ability both belong to the owner of the summoner, and appear to be exactly the same, except one kills units and the other doesnt

so you want the circle to kill anyone Even the caster? or just the enemy ill go try it myself in WE so i can see what happen.
 
i want the circle to kill any enemy who steps on it. Basically you could consider it a ward that kills any enemy that touches it.

is that what you want?it killed blue far seer hero as soon as game started because he was near the circle

the only issue left is to disable the circle mouvement since it replace a unit ( sorcess as u can tell in my example.

I used summon ward and changed the ward to a circle of power( custom unit) and gave the custom unit the permanent immolation 1 as normal ability then edited the ability

edit: to disable mouvement set the mouvement speed to 0
 
I tried basing it off the peasant and it still doesn't work :(. The problem must be with the move itself.
 
Heres the map i disabled all other trigger as they are thing i previously worked on to help other

as you can see the circle immolation radius kill the kn ight even so far away thats cause the range is set at 2000.

edit: it is to note that the ability will only work when summon ward is lvl 1 as I did not edit lvl 2 and 3
 
I got it to work now. I based it off of the infernal ability instead now. For some reason it works when based off of the infernal ability but not the sentry ward ability (when I make it anywayz):confused: Thanks for all your help though.

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
