Pictures in game

How do i put pictures in game? Are transparencies accepted?

1. Create a custom model based on a flat rectangle and use you image as a texture.

What about a picture that's stuck to the screen, not the terrain.

I'm trying to make an add-on above the map, also something I can change freely with GUI.

Then you should make a picture, import it and use it as a fade filter. That way you can change its color and make it transparent.
