I had an idea here...somehow like a stupid idea...but u might listen

Here it comes the idea:
Why dont we dont refresh the post count on each post?
Just like this is my 889th post...just leave the post count on the right side on th e post constantly....means like everyone that see this post knew that this is my 889th post..

And add 1 line on the underneath of the post count that views the total post posted.... ?

AFAIK, this would be pretty hard to implement... it would require some additional row in a database table. Also, all posts before this addition wouldn't have this ability.

Plus, I don't think the admins have the time to code this, with the server upgrade and all their other bussines.

I agree with those who those who think it should not be implemented. Thought it would be cool to see what post number each post was, I would much prefer to see the overall post count.

Not to mention, as others said, the time it would take.

So all in all, I said though it wouldn't be bad, it wouldn't be good. For something thats neutral, and takes time, it's not worth it.

It's good as is.

It wouldn't be bad, yea... But as said it may be hard to implement. Doing these stuff aren't as easy as stuff like JASSing small codes or making spells or whatever. It can take hundreds or thousands of lines of code to implement this.

If you really want to, I guess you could just manually put it, eg:

I don't really know why you would say that. It's just a record of how many posts you have. Surely that's not evil? Keep in mind, most bad/spam/pointless posts get deleted. I think the current system is good the way it is.

It's fine really, just about the way every forums work, + the reputation system.

After a while people wouldn't even watch which post number is the post they're reading. It's pointless.

If you must, take a screenshot. It's a solution that's way easier for the people that would have to actually code this into the VBulletin software.
