RC Car vs. Old Men on Golf Course

Imagine you're at a bar, playing a pool table, and some dick just comes and moves all te balls, just for fun. Wouldn't you feel like smacking him with the pool stick? Or would you simply say "It's just a game, we can start all over"?

Same applies to any game. Especially if there's money involved (gambling), things always get more serious.

Yeah but there's a difference between someone moving the balls away, and someone creating a toy robot that moved the balls, and you destroying the robot.

lol, again, the old men were lucky those kids are actually nice. And those kids are nice, regardless of what they did.

There is no difference in destroying what moved an object (and disrupting the game). Had it been a hand/foot/RC Car, etc. On purpose, it would've pissed anyone off.

But there is. If the kids just moved the ball in the first place by themselves, I don't think the old man would've just swung at the kid first thing like he did at the RC Car. Maybe after they argued, but as the first move?

Anyway, yeah the kids got what they deserved, but what I'm saying is, those old men are trying their luck. If those kids weren't such softies, they could've gotten hurt.

I can't exactly say who was more out of line, both parties were pretty inappropriate, although I would want to know what the old man would have done if he actually struck the guy with the golf club. Doesn't mean it wasn't funny though.

For everybody about the self defense.
The kids would have been thrown to jail, if they would have punched the old guy who was swinging the club. I don't know about other countries, but in here, self defense is a very difficult subject. If someone assaulted you with or without a weapon and you defended yourself, you would be the guilty here if the assaulting person suffered more injuries than you. It's really complicated.
