Finished Hildagarn's Identification spells, surprisingly harder than I thought :cool:. I changed the way the Identifying works though; instead of a lot of creatures being in a large area there's a small area where they are created, and you can scroll through all the units you have identified, looks a bit better/more professional imo :shades:

Edit: Made another Epicenter spell; is it more like this? Someone that knows DOTA tell me :p

Epicenter looks more like the DoTA version now. Except for the blood effect :p

Glad you liked them :D, there's some things you might want to change if you plan on using it in a multiplayer map though:

- if you're playing in a multi-player map, the fade filter (screen fades to black and back in) will apply to all players, so you might want to remove the fade filter in that case
- and when checking the identified units the scout becomes invulnerable which might be exploitable in a multiplayer map (e.g. start looking at your units when you're close to death and wait for reinforcements)

if you want me to remove them for you just ask me

Edit: and if you wish I can make Identify castable on magic-immune creatures too

It is multiplayer...so would you do those things for me please?

It is multiplayer...so would you do those things for me please?

Alright, I've made the following changes:
- Added a combat system so you can't cast View Identified Units in combat
- The Scout no longer becomes immune while viewing his identified units; instead, whenever he is attacked he will stop identifying (he will still be paused though, so he will not automatically engage combat with enemies)
- You can now identify creatures with magical immunity
- Removed fade filter
- You can no longer Identify Call without having identified any creatures
- If there are no creatures within the proper Identify Call level range the cooldown will reset, same with identifying creatures you have already identified
- Added some easy-to-modify options so you can customize the spells
- Fixed a bug in Identify Call which left a unit owned by Neutral Passive at the center of the screen
- Added graphic to identify
- Units summoned by identify call will no longer consume food

Now my final question to you is do you plan on making these spells levelable? Because they are nearly completely done with triggers so you might want me to assist you in that as well :p

Well, to be fair, I only put the blood effect in so I could see which units where affected while testing :p

I would like to request the following
Stone Scales: passive ability that reduces damage by (str x2) and has a 10% chance to deflect spells back at the castor

Glenphir, can you remake it again, I just exploited a bug:

When I target the spell on anoter point (eg: the hero's right side). While channeling, I targeted it again on the another point (eg: my left side). While channeling the newer Rain of Fire, I saw that the older Rain of Fire still remains firing rocks.

Please fix.

PS: can you also make it hurt allies?

Okay, not sure WHY it's not hurting the caster, finger of death might be hardcoded.

EDIT: Silly mistake I guess, forgot to uncheck neutral.

EDIT2: No longer looks silly if you run out of mana.

You should definitely put a cooldown on the ability either way. Currently you can spam it in an area non-stop at the cost of 50 mana per spammed cast.

that ditto spell where a hero steals another heros spells is pretty awesome.. can someone make a slight change to it? so that it transfer XP also? i havent tested it that well, but can you be killed while in another form? if so this is great!!! what was to happen if say you stole illidan spells, and metamorphed ... will it crash? is there any possible buggs i can get by putting this into a 12 player map

It will not crash when you cast spells like Metamorphosis. And the way it works is basically that you "summon" the other players hero where you are standing and make your own hero invisible, rather than replacing your Hero, and after the duration of the Transform spell is finished you will revert back to your normal Hero.

I'll change it to transfer experience/health/mana as well, as well as being able to die in the other form :shades:

Edit: The following changes were made:
- Experience/Health/Mana now transfers between the transforming hero and the person he is transforming into
- The transformed unit can no longer use items/pick up items
- Added new "Revert Transform" ability so you can cancel transform at any time
- If the Transformed unit dies the Hero that cast it will die as well
- It is now MUI

1st skill-Sword of the Dammed.
Maliken's legendary weapon, the Sword of the Damned, is capable of two different attack modes: Enchanted Flames grants him increased damage at the cost of his own life, while Life Essence grants him very high life steal at the cost of reduced damage.

::Activation
Grants Maliken the ability to toggle on Enchanted Flames or Life Essence

::Enchanted Flames Effects
10 / 20 / 30 / 40 Damage
Deals 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 True damage to self on attack. Will not cause health to go below 15%.

::Life Essence Effects
-10 / -20 / -30 / -40 Damage
Heals self for 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 per attack.

**Note:-Enchanted Flames Effect uses a fire sword model.
-Life Essence Effects uses a green sword model.

Maliken allows his wounds to fuel his rage, increasing his attack speed based on how much health he is missing.

wth happened to my request .. i even gave a demo map ...


yes it is posible read my posts, you can use poison arrows and its buff. and you need to do a damage detection system which can be done in GUI. there is a demo of my spell somewhere i nthe forum ima post the link .

seems liek your abilities are not suficient so i hope glenphir will do it ...


by the way the demo is only for 1 shot, so if i want three shots you will have to use 2 dummy units and 3 set of variables and 3 set of abilities and diferent cast time on each dummy spell so it doesnt look crowded.

just do it so it can shot 3 times in 1 attack ....

Oh, I thought someone completed it and posted it on this thread. I know how Glaives of Wisdom works. It's basically a buff placer spell. As for your triple throw, detecting the casting of the spell is the difficult one. If you think about it, won't it look silly if the projectile hit the enemy and then 2 additional projectiles pop out again?

Completed the spell Fissure requested by INCINERATE. It is MUI. Check the first post for the demo map. (Tried to make it exactly same as DoTA's Fissure eg: number of crevasses).
