I just don't want my custom ability to be able to be autocasted, so i'm trying to find a way to take away autocasting from an ability!

Well, i fixed my ability problem.....

Anyone got an idea for level caps?

If you mean the max Hero level, that's in Gameplay Constants.

Yeah, just go to the gameplay constants under advanced and scroll down find

Hero - MAXIMUM HERO LEVEL ___ <-- Your level Check off use custom on the top left.

Hehe, i actually don't quite know, except im designing the heroes and abilities first....

I guess around 2 hours of gameplay?

Maybe more?

Or is that too far fetched?

Its a single player rpg (like founding of durator)

Rotating Buildings

Hey, how do you rotate a building? I tried pressing the rotate, and it rotates in the picture on the sidebar, but it doesn't really rotate when i place it down!?!?

Heeelllpp!!

And will soemone answer my previous question please?

Scale Value. But it only goes up to 10, which is REALLY big.

And how do you rotate buildings? I click rotate on the side bar, but it only rotates in the picture...i place it down and its still the same postition.

I'm talking about buildings like castle and townhall.

I realize what you're talking about. As far as rotation, I don't know. *Shrug*

But for size: In the Art fields, you have to find this row:
Art - Scaling Value
Then change the number to what you want. It will most likely be set to 1, as each premade Blizzard building is 1 x original size. So if you put 2, the size will be x2.

A note about making buildings bigger: If you want the building to LOOK bigger, that's one thing. But to make it take up more space, you have to also change the pathing map. Also, I suggest changing the Selection Scale, so that the green circle that appears when you select the building is bigger.

If your game play is at least 2 hours depending on your xp / kill id set it around 75-85 for max level.

To rotate varius things before you are about to place it press "Z" and it should change its rotation.

Z doesn't work Broken X....please, someone tell me how to rotate the darn buildings!!!!!

Well, i finally came up with a title....be it a stupid one. Magic of a Lost Age...

Got a better title (which you probaly do), please tell me, i suck at making up names.....

How do you subscribe to a thread?

Does anyone know how to make a campaign like The Founding of Durator, where you can move between maps?

Also, is there another ability besides windwalk that gives backstab damage? I want it so you can use the ability and the next hit you do would do extra damage.

If youd read the rules then youd know your not supposed to bump this early ... OR go sending out lots of pms to people (which I assume you did, considering I got one from you that didnt have my name on it and you dont know me so likely you sent one out to everyone :p :eek:). Just try not to do that, lol -_-

Maybe alexander is the only one who is available right now to help you properly! :p I mean, we dont exist to serve those ' poor newbies' that visit this forum :p

As for the ability --- maybe this ---

A: unit uses ability
C: ability being cast = [your ability]
E: use local variables to set the casting unit to a local variable
E: im not relaly sure, you might want to turn on another trigger, then when the casting unit attacks, set his damge to damage of casting unit plus x damage, then return it to normal

Oh, and if you have 70 - 80 hero levels, then you might have over 320 tooltips per hero : :eek: (4 abilities x 80 levels:p) so you might want to take that into consideration ...
