So, if you are carrying more than your max, you cannot move, attack or cast spells... That would be hard (since you still need to be able to drop items...). Here is my plan now:

If you are carrying more than your max, you cannot move, but can turn, attack and cast spells. I like the cast spells part the most, because, that way, if you have a group of heroes doing a raid or something, with a bunch of loot found, then, if you have a mage with mass teleport, then you all just load up, and he whisks you back to town, and you drop your items and stuff to go and sell them.


Now, a real question - how can you make a unit unable to move, but still turn and attack and cast?

Then maybe restrict the spells that you can cast. But that will require to be for uniques RPGS.. then maybe add some globals with rawcodes of the spells.

If the unit has not move speed, it may be quiet. But it can turn and cast spell no?

Also i think that even paused you can turn, but not cast spells

A paused unit cannot do anything.

I cannot find good items for Durability, Max Durability and Encumbrance. Any suggestions?

Could you help clarify what the inventory is going to look like exactly?

Like, base page:
1. Bag: bag 1
2. Bag: bag 2
3. Bag: bag 3
4. Equipment: Weapons
5. Equipment: Armor
6. Equipment: Trinkets

or whatever its going to be, could u just clarify that?

Updated my progress (Code Base and PUA's are done, and bag is nearly done).


Hopefully I will add some screenshots this weekend (probably not, though...)

Added some screenies of the bag in action. It is using PUA's, but, since I'm pretty terrible at art, you can't really tell. Once I get bag finalized (work out a few, rare kinks), I will post it here to be used (open source).

Mmmmmk. Equipment == Done. Durability, however, I am having trouble with. All equipment should have a durability rating... yes? What about 'charms' that just give a strength bonus? I really need to know how you think durability should work.

I am about to post some screenies of equip and the item menu in action, so don't worry.
