A child's mind is completely different from anyone older.
In my opinion, if you want to look at it in the more 'positive' way, he was breave for facing the unknown of death.

Ah, but was he brave or stupid?

He would have been more brave to face the situation at hand without resulting in the escape of death.

but think about hes parents how they feel after hes Suicide.

Losing someone is hard, but it is one of those harsh realities. The simple fact is that you don't own other people, they aren't pieces of your property or your god given right. The world would be a nicer place if people didn't suicide, but a person's right to their own life outweighs everyone else's right to it.

the kid cant say why he did it because he is dead..
now hole family must have some help and yes sure hes sister
need help now. So little it is selfish of him he don't think

I think the motives are important here. Reportedly, some people commit suicide purely to upset those around them. We can't be sure if this was the case, but if it was then it was obviously a very mean and spiteful thing to do.

what he did to hes family because of a farking game.

The confiscation and ensuing argument clearly triggered the suicide, but it probably wasn't the primary cause. The kid could have been in a semi-suicidal state for weeks, maybe this incident just pushed him over the edge?

Of course, there is always the chance that he never meant to hang himself and that the entire thing was accidental. It would be no less tragic.

He would have been more brave to face the situation at hand without resulting in the escape of death.

If there is an easy way out then people will take it. Suicide, however, is not an easy way out.

It takes a lot more willpower to commit suicide than to passively "face" a situation.

Ah, but was he brave or stupid?

These categories often overlap.

When I was younger I couldn't even afford to get the new consoles until years after they were out. I wasn't so stupid as to hang myself because of it. I understood that that was the reality and didn't complain.

The kid was an idiot.

True, but everyone is completely different. Everyone was raised different. Obviously for the kid it was 'normal' and for us, it was 'stupid'.

Anyway, it was now or later either way for that kid.

Then think of it in the perspective of an angry, confused, lost, semi-suicidal child (assuming this is the case).

Think of anytime you really lost the grip of reality. This often happens when you're angry, confused, lost or similar. Any event, how insignificant it might seem for the people around can push you into making things you never thought you would.

I would have to agree with TheDamien. I believe the kid was wandering around trying to keep perspective of reality, and found temporarly sooth in this video game. After a mere second this haven of his was taken away leaving him yet again in a confused state of mind, only this time with no grip of reality. What happened next was clearly an act on impulses, he wasn't thinking clearly, he wasn't thinking at all it just happened.

Really it maybe extreme, but really the person is obviously not ok mentally if he wants to do this to himself over a video game console.

Usually the suicidal people are the ones who had been holding back and keeping it inside without someone to talk to.

I don't think it's fair to make ridiculous generalizations like "th1s k1d w4s st\/p1d. LOL" because you have no idea what he was going through. The Wii was probably only part of the problem, anyway.

Hell, if you have issues and you're emotionally unstable as a teen you need help. Unless your mature enough to deal. Not the case with this kid.
Sad. :(

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
