Shop selling items to units

Perhaps it's a random screwup or I'm just tired as hell to notice I'm posting something stupid, but I cannot seem to be able to buy items from shops with a basic unit. Any help would be appreciated, adored, and possibly worshipped for eternity

Please explain more, Does the unit have an inventory? does the shop have the abilitys "select hero, Shop purchase item"?

I believe you perhaps have made a very basic mistake or else i will feel stupid now...
try give the shop the ability "select unit" in the object manager.

something like that so the shop can put a arrow over the head of the unit who is shopping or else the shop wont target anyone as a customer.

Haha, yup. I was being retarded XD I made a custom building to sell the items to a unit that had and inventory, but I forgot to add the "select unit" ability.

But now I have another dilemma: can nonhero units use items, like a Scroll of Town Portal for example?
