Special Effect Help

okok, i got this idea where when a unit goes near a certain object that can be interacted with (Eg. a leaver). an exclemation mark appears on there head.

but, i want that when the unit moves away from that object (the region) the exclemation mark dissapears.

ive gotten this far, but the problem is, when removing a special effect, theres only the command "remove last created" and well, that really limits me, because if one unit were to near the leaver, and then a different unit enters aswell, adn they both get the exclemation mark, how do i remove them when they wlak out of the region

Create a Special Effects Array (This would work better if it's 1 unit per player, if it's not, tell me) of the size of number of players.

Event - Unit enters Region
Conditions -
Actions - Create Special Effect - etc. etc.
Set SpecialEffectVar[Players number of owner of triggering unit] = Last Created Effect

Event - A unit leaves region
Conditions
Actions - Remove SpecialEffectVar[Player number of owner of triggering unit]

well, each player only has only one hero and like a pet or somthing, or a summon.

so could i liek add a trigger in so it only effects heros?

or would that b harder then making it for multiple units?

That would make it easier.

Use the player index as a unique variable for player's hero as esb suggested.

1. You go to trigger editor first, of course.
2. Press CTRL+B to pop the variable dialog up.
3. Press CTRL+N to create a new variable.
4. Type name for your variable.
5. Set type of the variable to Special Effect.
6. Click the array box.
7. Then press OK to create the variable.
8. Press OK once again to close the variable dialog.
9. Press CTRL+R to open up action list.
10. Choose the 7th action called Set Variable.
11. Click the "Variable" field and choose the new special effect variable.
12. Click the "Index" field and scroll down the list until you see value called "Player - Player Number".
13. Click the "(Triggering player)" value and then choose "Owner of Unit".
14. Click OK
15. And then click OK once again.
16. Click the "Value" field and click OK.

Then you have that kind of.. action. Is it too detailed?

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
