I have two spells. One is "Stone Powers" - This is a semi-empty spellbook used to house the spells granted by 'equipping' magic stones.

Inside the Stone Powers spellbook is an ability called "Equip Stone"
After casting Equip Stone, a dummy item morphs into the real deal, and grants the SECOND spellbook, with an identical ID to the first.

I can't seem to ghost the second spellbook, I'm getting the green square of doom. I want it to be invisible, is there a way to do that?

I don't think Spellbooks can share IDs.

They can, they simply share spells. That is not the problem.

I need to make the spellbook not visable in the user interface (i.e. the only way to access the second spellbook is via the first.)

No. That's called using the same Spellbook.

Anyhow, if you want to ghost a Spellbook, I honestly do not see why you just don't remove it for the new Spellbook or just continue using the same Spellbook.

Yeaaaah, you aren't really helping and I'm not sure you know what you're saying.

Let me rephrase my question, how do I disable a spellbook?
