It is safe for me to say...I am nocturnal.

On most average summer days I go to bed around 5/6am, and wake up around 2/3 pm

Thank God I never work any earlier than 4PM :D

I think it depends on the person, some people can't resist sleeping for less than 10 hours. I try to get enough sleep (7-9 hours, highest possible) but not too much :p
Also depends on the work you do during the day, how much you eat, etc. Some can stay awake if they eat correctly and etc. I'm no doctor, but well...

I always get about 9 hours sleep, except on weekends I can't stand to waste the time and go to bed at about 4am. Also don't go onto warcraft etc unless its a weekend (otherwise I get distracted from schoolwork) :)

Don't even get me started on when I went to sleep during the summer. But I did get 11 hours of sleep, usually a bit more, sometimes a bit less.

But last year (Since it was grade 8... Did nothing and got good grades), I stayed up late then woke up just before school, had my shower and such then went off. For the last month or so of the last school year, I got 6 or 7 hours of sleep, like 10 on weekends.

This next school year I have to get more though ( :( ) and goto bed at a decent time... Psh. I will, but I;ll be grudging about it.

Anyways, I prefer 10 hours of sleep, usually get less though. It takes me a while to fall asleep.


Too much information about my sleeping habits? Nah.

But it is suggest for a teen to get 15 hours of sleep a day
OK then make school 4 hours long and no Homework and we may get to that goal

Silly people. Sleep deprivation is just a bunch of lies.
The real thing you should be afraid of are those damn flying monkeys, always trying to steal the overclocked banana-potato motherboard I'm using. Damn plants!
Right. Maybe it's not that much of a lie after all...

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
