TH has been really interested in this. I'd really like to see us get to at least the top ten before interest dies out.
 
200 Free Clicks! Just got my 50th post on CMC Forums so we get 200 free clicks. I asked if they could do all population. At 75 posts I get access to the VIP section which has another autovisitor type link exchange program that looks like it dishes out about 500 clicks a day. Schweet!

Once I get on that extra program that will bring us up close to 2k clicks a day which is about what I see max for all the regulars on the CMC forums with cities where we are going, to the top. The problem is that they are growing the same as we are growing and in order to pass them we need to do something extra and that something is in the works. The edge - is what I am talking about.

Pollution 1% now though. And Transport 99%. It keeps changing to the needed things...

EDIT2: 12603 population, rank 80. Nothing wrong. I got 49 posts there -- later on ill post and get us another 200 clicks.
 
Yay! I hit 50 posts awhile ago, and got us our 200 clicks and super skyscaper! It's ther clock one, just like the helper wanted. I was refreshing pretty often just before we got it -- ace must have been watching it more carefully though. o.0

(Yay me... :p)

The guy there told me if he saw too many members joining just to boost thehelper and leave, he will stop doing it for thehelper, though..

He meant if it looked like it was a bunch of the same people. You guys sign up and give those 50 posts and make yourselves heard over there. Each TheHelper.net dude that does that gets 50 rep from me. Just link me to the forum post announcing it.

Its clear to me and I dont care if a registered member can get a 50 posts in there I want my 200 clicks and whether or not they are given you still get the 50 rep for doing it.

You da man. You got us that Super Skyscraper with your 200 pop clicks. It is not trivial to get 50 posts in that forum. I am just trying for 75 to get in VIP then I am probably done posting there except for FAQ updates and other conversations.

Actually, all need for communication through messed up interfaces shall be eliminated in TheHelper.net plan for MyMiniCity domination. More to come.... oh that's right you won't know about it - top secret stuff - serious business.
 
Their board is horrible and laggy, at least for me.

    Or even third party. Like if you don't have an original one in a functional condition, you cannot play this game properly. Like yeah the keyboard mods exist, but I think those are BARELY functional

    And since almost all of my programming experience is with defunct shit now, I figure my best place is helping preserve legacy stuff. Which I don't know how to do necessarily, but I need some kind of a hobby and figuring out how older things worked is the only shit that really interests me. Well soldering and restoration is fun too, but no one is bringing me new stuff to fix and restore, so it's mostly old shit, and I LOVE OG Xbox so much. I want to make sure it can function as long as possible, until someone can effectively emulate it at least. I have like 15 I was going to fix over the winter and didn't get to.

    Yeah Tom, me too sorry for your loss buddy my mom told me she finds out her olds friend died from Google searching them. She had not talked to one of her old friends in a year and found out she died from Google. Also another one in the same session. RIP all of them my sincere condolences Tom

    We have some elderly guests that regularly come hang out at the bar at the end of the night, and every once in a while we don't see someone for a few weeks and then someone shows up with their obituary.

    We usually let them do their memorials there in the morning if they want to and I'll make them some snacks and drinks. There was one guy named Tom that came in like every night and would sit by himself and get a bunch of soup and a glass of wine. idk why but he LOVED our fucking soup, like he would order a fucking quart of it at a time and would always get so sad when we stop doing it for the summer.

    He was just such a sweet old man, we had two servers pregnant and they held a baby shower together, he was soooooo fucking excited to get to see a baby. Unfortunately he died a month or so before they were born

    So I decided to Google some people that I had not seen or heard from in a while and sure enough one of my old best friends, we had a falling out years ago but whatever, find out he died of Pancreatic Cancer in January. I have also lost a few of my closer acquaintances from growing up the last year. Getting old - people die - I kinda thought it was going to be this way a few years ago....
