Time Control Spell

Okay, I admit. I'm not exactly good at triggers, but only at basic triggers. So I need some help with a spell. Is it possible to do a time control spell in GUI, which that once activated, will slow enemies in an area that increases each level?

For more info, I mean like that when the spell is activated, all enemy units in an area have their movement speed and attack speed reduced while near to the caster. AoE and time is increased at each level.

I'm still looking for a person who have brains at GUI spells, so give me feedback. Thanks! ;)

You can try basing the spell off defend or something (I assume that your spell activates/deactivates) and creating a negative-value endurance aura targeting enemies. And then trigger it to add/remove endurance aura when defend is activated/deactivated.

use a negative endurance aura

every time hero activates the spell, add the aura
when the buff disappears remove it

    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to your ability
    • Actions
      • Unit - Add your aura aura to (Triggering unit)
      • Unit - Set level of negative endurance aura for (Triggering unit) to (Level of your ability for (Triggering unit))


Trigger:
  • turn off

      • Unit - A unit Stops casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to your ability
    • Actions
      • Unit - Remove your aura from (Triggering unit)



this will hide the aura ability that is being added

I guess so.

P.S. I wouldn't use a negative endurance aura if you just want slowed movement... I would use the tornado aura that passively slows already... Just designed to do it so no problems would arise... and a spell that drains mana... You could make a negative Brilliance Aura with high values... Mana burn drains mana... and you could always trigger the mana drain...

I think he means how to decrease mana for using the skill. You can try setting the mana cost? Or maybe base it off immolation which has -mana per second, or trigger it to set less mana every second something like set triggering's mana = triggering's mana - 100.

I still am going to use it anyway, I just want to train my hero spell skills. So you're saying that when I activate it, the 'defend' ability, do I trigger to add two auras that the endurance aura effects enemy units and the brilliance to affect self?

The brilliance aura increases ur mana regen, and yeah if thts wad u wan, thts how u add it. 2 auras work fine together. But I believe ur looking for mana decrease for spell use?

One of the poster said to add a negative value to the brilliance aura, so I believe it decreases the mana. I can't be sure. :confused:

And, no, I am looking for a spell that once used the mana begins to be used and will stop until it reaches to 0 mana. You know, more of a mana shield that when the mana goes down, the shield is disabled.

I apologize for a double post. Anyway, to the ontopic, I based the spell on Immolation, aura on the endurance aura. I tried the spell and unfortunately it did not work. So I did a bit change to the triggers ( by changing "Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability" to "Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability") and still not working. Any issues?

The triggers are also same as the millzy's post.

I thought I suggest immolation too? Well anyway... The stop ability, I dun think it would work. I dun see any reason other than that, and its only a possibility its because of that, so maybe the negative brilliance aura is a better idea.

Oh. I must have misread. I'm sorry about that, and I'll try the negative brilliance aura.

Aura first is the endurance aura, and aura 2 is brilliance.

Immolation doesn't work as you are attempting to use it. It works as an order, and another order that turns it off.. You have to trigger them as shown above *just sample triggers, not actually for what you are doing :).

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
