So, the map is a 3v3 Castle Defence. If the defenders defend teh city like 30 mins they win and the attackers lose. The timer should be like: "Time until Cenarius heals the land:". Halp?
Or if you actually want some timer that counts visibly down:
you need two variables:
timer variable MyTimer
timer window variable MyTimerWindow (name as you want)
Trigger:
InitTimer
Events: Wherever you want
Actions:
Countdown -Timer: Start MyTimer as a one-shot timer that expires in X seconds.
Countdown -Timer: Create a Timer window for last started timer with the titel <Cenarius arrives in:>
set MyTimerWindow=last created Timer window
Countdown - Timer: Show MyTimerWindow
then you can easily destroy the window whenever you want and stop the timer whenever you want. You would need to make another trigger too which actually does the stuff:
Trigger:
TheEndIsNear
Events:Time- MyTimer expires
Actions:
Destroy MyTimerWindow
<whatever you want to do at the end, do it here>
I am working on getting access to the old news portal under a different URL for those that would rather use that for news before we get a different news view.
It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
