[Chocobo]

For my map Ghost Lake RPG (http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=32722), I do not know what music to use, I had decided to import all 7 musics, but because the lot of problems I got, I decided to import only one music, but I do not know what music to import. (http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=39906)

There are 7 differants musics you can hear, and you can vote for the music you like the most..

For an idea, I played those musics with my friends in a private school, so please, do not just say it is stupid.. it takes time.

None of these songs would suit a WC3 map anyway. You need to find something more orchestral.

You go here, then you add the suffix Pist1.mp3 to dl (1 up to 7). It works perfect then.

if you really want custom music (which i strongly discourage btw) then get something from wow. really nice soundtrack.

i reallly dont know why u guys keep discouraging music in a game. i, well i dont no if i am alone in this, love music in games. Ever played that one version of kodo tag w/ the song "In the end" by linken park? it was remixed to play 1.7 times faster and higher so it wasn't the exact song but the point is that i only play that version of kodo because the music rocks. when i host it people join and say "finnaly, somebody is hosting the good version, *then they quote from the song*"

Oh and btw, BEATLES FOREVER!!!!

-I don't want to download an additional 2MB (+2 min to each one downloading).
-I have my Winamp on and don't like to be disturbed.

Forget bnet's 4.0MB limit. Maps should be as small as possible.

every multiplayer map should aim at its size. most of the people will kick you if the map they hosted is larger than 500kb-1mb. they will tell you either "kick n00b dl" or "download at wc3sear.ch"...will you really do that for a map you just heard of for the first time? so do you think one song is really worth all this?
you wanna listen to linkin part while playing? mute the game and use winamp.

every multiplayer map should aim at its size. most of the people will kick you if the map they hosted is larger than 500kb-1mb. they will tell you either "kick n00b dl" or "download at wc3sear.ch"...will you really do that for a map you just heard of for the first time? so do you think one song is really worth all this?

They upload maps I host at around 250 kb/s or something like that, I hosted the technology thing (3,999 mb) and I started with 12 players just after 5 minutes.

Note: I am using a Satellite not a normal connexion.

5 min = 300 seconds.

300 seconds means no people on B.Net.

I, for one, leaves if there are 11 players needing the map and each one downloading slowly. When I want to play, I want to play NOW, not 5 min so people can download stuff that only serves to be an annoyance between me and my Winamp.

exactly. and some people (such as myself) do not have fast connection...takes them a lot more than 5 minutes a large map.
at least make a music-free version that would be smaller.

Really? I thought it's illegal even if you give credits, since there's no real difference if you download it somewhere for free or get it over a Warcraft map.
But who cares?

And I wouldn't add custom music, reasons have already been mentioned. ^^

I find the warcraft 3 soundtrack rather good too.

I point out the fact, you can turn music and sound off warcraft as I do, so if ill play a map which has musics, ill wonder why it is so big.

People's music taste varies alot.

But do whatever you want, I dont courage nor discourange music in a map.

(From the choice above, I would choose Beatles)
