war3mapPreview and war3mapMap as 1 file?

I've found a korean map recently that appears to have the same image being used as both map preview and minimap image. That is, there is no file named war3mapMap.tga, but instead just one file named war3mapPreview.tga. I have it uploaded below, but it's completely in korean and protected as well.

I was wondering if anyone knew how its done? It seems like it would be a useful trick to save ~100kb of map size.

Can you elaborate on "open any default map ffs..." ?

If I put a war3mapPreview.tga into the map, it isn't set to the minimap picture automatically.

I didn't find a war3mapMap when i was poking around in the map, but I might have been wrong and I'll check again later.

I'm not asking about deprotection, I'm just curious about what they did.

NEVERMIND, it was in .blp so I missed it when I was poking in it. Thread is now pointless.
