Warcraft 3 Replay Viewer

Hi there, I'm working on a warcraft 3 replay client which will allow you to automatically upload your latest replays, download new replays, browse replays, and most of all easily watch replays. So far I have done most of the designing and just started coding but just wanted to post about it first. When starcraft 2 is released, I hope to use it for sc2 also. Here are some pictures...

I don't really watch replays at all. But it could be useful to people that watch replays by the masses or could even be used by a website to watch online replays... Your choice.

Visual Basic. Gonna make a website for it too so people can find replays and stuff easier. Whats an intergrated replayer.

ive seen a dota movie in youtube where the camera angles are so cool, and the vid was also so cool, there the author posted the softwares he used for the vid

he has Replay seeker which u can seek replays in wc3, and also a camera hack plugin, where u can apply any camera angles that wc3 doesnt have

ive been searching these plugins, but cant find one

Do you have any idea how hard that would be? warcraft replays are not movies..

I don't really know how they work, but as far as I know they store actions, and when you play a replay it just acts them out.

Obv. it has alot of other data as well.


The rest of it would be pretty easy; I know some VB.net I would mind helping some. (unless your making it in vb 6 *yuck* )

If it can do all of that I think you would have a fairly successful program. I know I will be using this to watch some DotA replays.
