Newgen crashes when saving

Im running into a problem of having my Newgen crashing when at the end of saving the map. And when i run syntex check it showed a message "Common.j is not in the same directory as Tesh.dll" Which when i checked the folder, its in there. Any ideas why?

You should try to re"install" both of the programs.

Thats The only way? Looks like i have to dig around and see if theres other method as I'll have to get a new Battlechest again.

I mean that you should reinstall newgen and TESH. What is battlechest?

Anyway.. obviously that's not the only way.. there might be just some single file which is quite dinged up.

Oh Ic, Im using the Newgen Version which was released... and was wondering why its not working when saving, Coz i saw what it does to the Jass Editor and it would really assist me..

Are you using any of those externals .exes? They screw up for me.

You need to read the installation manual of NewGen. No need to reinstall wc3.
common.j must be in your main NewGen folder.

So I just Copy and paste the "Common.j" which is in the "TESH" Folder and place it in the main folder?

If you have downloaded version 4b it should be ready to run without you copying anything. What does the error say anyway?

@Jazradel: What's the problem with the externals, and what version of NewGen do you have?

It shows "Common.j Missing with the TESH Dll" and also it crash when the map is completed compilation.

Does that mean you are using version 4b? And what does the crash error say?
Does the logs folder contain anything of interest?

But this is after i removed, and install and test again. When my map compiles using the normal saving map method. It crash when after all the compillation is done.

Or is it a crash in one of the NewGen compontents, so that the editor stays open?

It Closes the Editor, The Whole WE Crashes. And the Window Error Report Appears

Do you have War3 patched to version 1.21?
Are you using a cracked world editor?

Yes, War3 Is Patched to 1.21.
Yes, Im running a Cracked version which is recoved from my previous hdd which died off.
I haven had the Finance & time to get a new set yet. If thats the reason then ill better quickly get a new set then.

Yes, that's the reason. NewGen can't be used with a cracked version.
Furthermore cracks aren't supported here.
