Gold, Lumber +10 Text Color

I know there is a way to change the color of the +10 resource and even the critical strike #!color. Someone posted a file that you could modify and then import into the map to change these colors to your liking. I tried searching around but had no luck. Does anyone know which file it is? the thread or another way to accomplish this?

You only need "|c", Red code, Green code, Blue code, Alpha code, and then "|r".

Codes are label from 1 through F. In order: 0123456789ABCDEF. A total of ( 16x16 = 256 ) x 4 (3 base colors + Transparency) = 1024 different colors.

No, you know the +10 that appears when a peasant returns gold to a townhall... the gold +10, or green lumber +10 or 100! red critical strike text? There is a way to change these colors, you modify a certain text file and then import it into the map, just cant find the file.

Note that you cannot normally change the colors of the +10 or critical strikes in the interface editor.

Yep, thats why I want to find out the other way.

you could disable bounty for all players, set point value to bounty and do floating text from there. or another way is..

i guess enable bounty for nuetral hostile
whenever a player unit dies, create a new unit (Same unit type as the dying one) for neutral hostile in the corner of the map and order one of the killing units to kill that, detect change in gold and display floating text,

I see what you mean, but since I wanted it to change the color of the gold and lumber income from workers gathering it would be a pain to do it this way since it isnt simply bounty. Thanks for the suggestion though.

If you knew JASS, maybe this can be done. There are some JASS natives that control the color of those texts. If you can find it, or ask it in the JASS Help Zone, maybe you can receive a solution better than ours.

unless you know something i dont, not there arent. There are texttag natives, but not for the default text when getting lumber/gold bounty.

If you are so sure about it, plz post the native's names

Oh...I must've been mistaken. I'm not really that sure; My main purpose is to tell him to ask in the JASS Help Zone, where he may get help from.

Hey guys, found the way of doing it. It was by modifying the MiscData file. Thanks for all the suggestions though, have a good one .
