Vampiric Aura

How can i change that Vampiric Aura works on range as well as melee? >.<



I used 'Item Life Steal' instead, hero ability, 3, =D

You can't, only with trigger to can do it

• Vampiric Ranger
  • Events
    • a unit take damage
  • Conditions
    • (Damage source) has buff equal to Vampiric Ranger
  • Actions
    • Set &lt;Value&gt; = (Damage taken)
    • Set life of (Damage source) to life of ((Damage source) + (&lt;Value&gt; x 0,05)

This will regenerate life, but will work with spells... and <Value> x 0,05 is 5% of total damage deals...

It's completely hardcoded. You'll first need to base the aura on something else (ranged units can never get the aura buff of VA). Then trigger the whole thing.

Try use a buff placer and a damage detection system coupled together.
