can you fix them ?

I'll take a look mate, I kind of botched that spell (but I haven't given up yet ;))


Edit - I just had an epiphany, one Boulder Toss spell coming right up


Edit - I've fixed all issues except one problem. I'm having difficulty creating an event for the pickup trigger. If I make it an item he can pick it up then it leaves a permanent rock on the ground that is un-targetable, if its a destructible theres no way to find out who destroyed it, and if its a unit I have to move a region to it and i'm having difficulty reffering to the region ones its been moved. I don't know, i'm at a loss at this point :*(

Edit - YES, ITS DONE! MWAHAHAHAHA! With only one effect problem, when you pick it up, the rock will remain there for 2 seconds before going away.

Edit - I even fixed the effect problem

Just got some problems with my Apocolypse spell. It works fine on most things, but after i have killed enemies, and thier corpses are there, the spell also targets the corpses, and does the pushback on them too. And it also hits buildings and push's them :p

Any way to fix this?

Yes, add the conditions, (Matching Unit) is alive equal to true and (Matching Unit) is a structure equal to false.

Heya guys i've tried to borrow the spell Apocalypse for a model for a spell much a like - when i borrowed i started to see if i could make the spell work and i can though i have two problems - I dont know why but i cant make the spell fire a missile - my dummy have the death coil spell for units and all the same settings as Nighthawks dummy tho still wont show - it is made to shoot a Undead Death Knight - Death Coil spell and my other problem is that i want the spell not to move buildings and that the flying units get stopped by trees and other things like that not just fly past them and get stuck in the middle (; hope someone can help me fix this.

Use Turn Collision for _YOUR_FLYING_UNIT_ Off, use conditions when it picks units (probably Set _WhateverTheNameOfTheUnitGroupIs_ = Units within blah blah blah all that and at the latest condition, replace it with an AND condition, and make the same condition again, but on the new red condition, use that and place (Matching Unit) is alive).

could you please explain you self and tell which solution is for what and such xD im not that hardcore to this stuff yet - Firstly how to make em stop at doodads

Death Grip good to go.

Pros:
MUI
Fits the description (drags the unit down!)

Cons:
Lightning effect will not spawn in the middle of the unit for air units
Has to use custom value

Couldnt you have done the grounded thing to the air units too? And the small stun on whatever its used on.

Apart from that, amazing job!

When i did it, straight after the pull they started flying again. They should be grounded for about 5 seconds ish?

Ohh I see.

I fixed a few bugs, including lack of damage and no effect. I also added stun and grounded.

Death Grip working perfectly on your map, but when i imported it to mine, all of your custom variables went, so the spell is un-usable. Would you be able to fix it on my map for me?

Killing Skill

Description
Gives you 20,30,50% of your life in dmg. And gives a 10,25,50% dodge!
Level 1
Gives 20% Life in Damage and a 10% dodge
Level 2
Gives 30% Life in Damage and a 25% dodge
Level 3
Gives 50% Life in Damage and a 50% dodge

Under Options, I believe, you can check a box called 'Import Custom Variables' (or something like that, you'll see it) that will import all the variables and spells used in triggers you import to your map.

great work Nighthawk !! now this is looking alot more like what i envisioned :)

this works exactly how i expected it to

i cant seem to give you more rep :p .. thanks again buddy :thup:






-edit ( very small issue i found in testing) when i don't got the boulder in my hand and i do the spell , it will damage the unit without the rock defeating the purpose of needing the rock :p
