Neon Genesis Evangelion... That was made in 1995, the new remake of the series; Rebuilding Evangelion has just been made.

Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex has been out for about 3-5 years now... only the 3rd movie of Ghost in the Shell (Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society) is considered 'newly released'

Edit: I couldn't pick 5... So I picked my 10 favorite :D

The animes of the first list have been aired over 20 years ago, when most of you lads weren't even born.

Those from second list are only about 10 years old, so odds are pretty than you know at least the names of these animes.

Neon Genesis of Evangelion. One of the Legendary Animes, and Ghost in the Shell inspired the matrix. So whats not to like ;)

Ahhh, that explains everything. Why do you think, I added a second list?

The early works are by far the best, as things end up most of the time when quantity wins over quality. The CGs done these days are boring or overdone. Compare the Hades/Inferno chapters of Saint Seiya against the three original series.

It's like computer games. Early games may look cheap with their <=16 colors and ugly pixel sprites, but there was so much more effort put into the game itself rather than the overall look and fancy effects.

But you youngsters can't understand that. :p

I like anime, but here are the best I've watched so far (from 1st to 5th, in order of how often I watch them), I'll post their english titles.

  • Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X
  • Alice Academy/Gauken Alice
  • Dragon Ball (not DBZ, I meant the original Dragon Ball which is by far better than DBZ, made a long time ago before I was even born. DBZ is totally based on it but I haven't watched the last episodes yet, maybe next month. I never knew Goku San had a tail in the first place:eek:)
  • La Corda D'Oro, Primo Passo (Great musical anime w/ comedy and drama elements I observed so far. It's aired on Animax every wednesday in SE asia.)
  • Initial D

I like animes w/ alot of girls and soft personalities or animes based on shoujo manga.

Here are some other animes I like watching:

  • Slam Dunk
  • Initial D - Fourth Stage
  • Pokemon Advanced
  • God (?) Save Our King!
  • Naruto

Unfortunately Rurouni Kenshin will not appear on Animax after this week, and it will be replaced by Detective Conan. Sounds interestin and I'd like to watch it as well!

1) Seto No Hanayome (probably the funniest anime I've ever watched).
2) Code Geass.
3) Death Note.
4) Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoiyo! Masaru-San (yet another insanely funny anime).
5) Fullmetal Alchemist.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
