So when I open up a model from wow using the wow model viewer and want to export it, it gives me four options:
Wavefront (.obj)
Lightwave (.lwo)
Milkshape 3d (.ms3d)

Essentially what i want to know is where do I go from here in the process of getting this model into...
Agreed with above post. You need to make separate skills for each ability. Unfortunately if these abilities have levels then you will have to make quite a bit.
